Welcome to NBCUniversal’s Open Doors, presented by State Farm® – our new initiative that supports all small businesses across the country, with a special spotlight on minority small businesses.
We want to ensure that all small businesses have access to our playbook, filled with downloadable resources, tips and strategies, advertising tutorials, and best-in-class business practices. In addition to utilizing our handy resources, you will also find a variety of insightful content relevant to small business owners.
Minority businesses account for more than 50% of the 2 million new businesses started in the U.S. in the last 10 years[1]. These successful enterprises have not only helped to create 4.7 million jobs, but now there are more than 4 million minority-owned companies in the U.S.[2], and while the number of minority-owned businesses continues to increase, much more still needs to be done to encourage and strengthen the community.
Our goal is to help owners grow their “labor of love” because we all know when small businesses succeed, communities thrive!
NBCUniversal and State Farm worked with subject matter resources to develop these materials specifically for small business owners like you. Access to these resources also gives you the option to get connected directly with a State Farm agent in your area for additional help!
