  • Creative must be attached in email
  • Images must be JPEG, GIF, PNG or animated GIF
    • All creatives that have a white or gray background must have a border around the image of at least 1px thick
  • Per the ad server, the supported sizes are below. There is generally a single / 2 ad call made on each newsletter that can be filled with any of these sizes:
    • 970×250
    • 970×550
    • 300×250
      • The ad server can traffic 728×90, 160×600, 300×600, but the above sizes are the base requirement for campaigns
      • All sizes appear on mobile (they size down to the width of the screen)
      • Max File Size: 250kb
      • GIF Animation Length: 30 seconds max; 5 fps; 3 loops
  • NOTES:
    • IFRAME, JavaScript, or Flash tags are not compatible with email and will not serve.
    • Max of 2 sets of tracking pixels accepted. LiveIntent accepts the following NBCU Approved Pixels: DCM, Sizmek, Doubleverify, IAS, Flashtalking, and AdForm.

Dedicated Push Email: Option 1

 

HTML File

  • Assets due: 5 Business Days before Deployment Date
    • HTML is preferred if asset deadline can be made
  • Assets Required:
    • Max width – 640px (most common is 600px)
    • Max height is flexible (most common is 600px)
    • Use a simple, table-based format. No CSS positioning.
    • External CSS is not supported.
    • Use valid links, no ‘#’ placeholders. (note if all links need to be updated or just specific ones)
    • Test the HTML in Outlook, Gmail, Yahoo, etc.
    • No javascript
    • Subject line copy (ideally under 80 characters including spaces)
    • Pre-header copy
